Our Values
Our church is centered around the following core values:
Safe Harbor: We are a community where everyone is welcome. Whatever your faith background, spiritual tradition, or lack thereof; whatever your belief system or doubts, ethnicity, culture, or marital status – we want this to be a safe place for you to belong, even before you believe.
Intimacy with God: We seek to make God the center of our lives. Our greatest privilege is our enjoyment of an intimate and profound relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Deep Discipleship: We don’t merely profess faith. We seek to follow Jesus in such a way that, over time, we experience deep, beneath-the-surface transformation in our lives, so that we can become more truly who God has created us to be. And we believe the best context for this is community.
The Gospel: We value, hold to, and declare the good news of what God has done in Jesus.
Compassion for the Poor: We value and express God’s heart of compassion for the poor, through works of compassion and justice.
The Power of the Spirit: We seek to rely on and experience the power of God's Spirit in us and through us. This leads us to live lives of bold, expectant prayer.
“3 Streams” Worship: Undergirding all of these values is our desire to live lives and worship God in a way that is simultaneously Word-centered, Spirit-empowered, and Rooted in the practices of historic Christian worship.
